Sundre Santa’s Anonymous Check Stop

Motorists please be advised that a special check stop will take place on December 4, 2009 on Highway #27 across from Sobeys (IGA) from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

This check stop will be operated by Sundre Santa’s Anonymous Volunteers in partnership with Sundre RCMP and Sundre Fire Department.

Donations of cash, non perishable food items, new toys, or clothing will be accepted by the volunteers manning the Check Stop. Take a drive past Sobeys on December 4th – Who knows you may even see Santa.

Volunteers Needed:
  • Santa’s Check Stop December 4th
    1 hour shifts 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • Volunteers are needed to organize, pack and deliver hampers

Deadline for Referrals is December 16th



The 2009 Program is up and running for another year and preparing to assist local families and individuals in making the holiday season a little brighter.

Greenwood Neighbourhood Place, and a committee or volunteer coordinators, will organize the program this year. Please contact Greenwood Neighbourhood Place at 403-638-1011 if you have any questions or concerns about the program.



How can you help?

You can help by donating non-perishable food items, gift certificates, toys, toiletries, adopting-a-family and/or your time.

Your donations of time, money, food, and gift will provide families and/or individuals with food and gifts for the holidays. Everyone deserves a holiday season filled with joy and happiness.

Drop off boxes are set up at various places in the community.

All information is kept confidential.
