Without a doubt the weeks and months have just gone by in a whirl wind. It is already March and spring is not too far away. Greenwood Neighbourhood Place is working on new programs and ideas for 2006. We hope to continue to provide the community with information, services and contacts. Our goal for the next year is to improve the communication with you and all service groups and organizations by: Conducting a Needs Assessment Distributing a Community Calendar Facilitating Interagency Meetings Improving the Webpage Sending out Newsletters Hosting a Community A-Fair A Community Service Directory is being produced with accurate information and contacts for services and contacts in Sundre. The hardcopy should be ready by September.

Greenwood Neighbourhood Place is proud to announce the program has started up in the Mountain View County. A parent LINK center provides parents and their children 0 -5 years with support and learning opportunities. This ensures children will start school ready and prepared. The centers will offer support and programs for parents and help their children develop to their full potential. This program is based out of GNP and will work with all communities in the county.
