Sundre and District Ministerial Association
The Sundre and District Ministerial Association is made up of the congregations in Sundre and in the surrounding community who subscribe to the Apostle's Creed.
These congregations shall be represented by their duly called or appointed clergy, or a qualified representative. Retired clergy, resident in the community, who have served any of these congregations and recognized representatives of para church organizations in the community shall also be eligible for membership.
Purpose:
The association exists to:
- foster fellowship among, give encouragement to and provide mutual spiritual support among the clergy members;
- give voice in the community with regard to biblical principles and moral standards;
- provide care in public institutions where requested and lead in public prayer and worship when requested.
- demonstrate the unity in Christ among the diversity of churches by cooperating in aspects of God's work in Sundre and district.
- coordinate inter-church activities such as the fifth Sunday evening gatherings and the carol sing.
