Family Support

Our office can offer support through these programs and services:

  • The Family School Wellness Program (FSWP) takes a holistic approach to providing family supports. The program is designed to be "needs driven" and family centered. The workers are all professionals capable of helping families deal with crisis as well as ongoing issues.

We have some parenting education courses going on during the next few months. Please click here for more details.

Services and supports are community based whenever possible and are designed to encourage multi-agency involvement when appropriate. The FSWP can be accessed through either the school or the community Greenwood Neighbourhood Place.

The Family School Wellness Workers are practitioners, free of any agency or department mandate, which provides families with a safe environment to address their specific family and children's needs, when you are asking for help. They come from a variety of educational and work experience backgrounds such as social work, psychology, nursing, education, etc.

The Sundre Family School Wellness Workers are working out of the River Valley School and the Sundre High School.
